Pros and cons of AeroPad app for iPhone and iPad

AeroPad app good for

Mais depuis mon passage de iPad 2 à iPad 3, laffichage est devenu très lent. iPad 3 retina display takes a huge toll on AeroPad and it takes a significant amount of time to display a picture now, whereas it was fine on iPad 2
After trying many pdf / image viewers I wish I had seen this one first. As a pilot, Ive struggled with how to display large files on my iPad without 1) crashing or 2) very long load and regeneration times. This app with its converter is fantastic. The Quickswitch function is really good (much fast than switching from app to app) and the Chronostat will come in very handy. Plus the double finger tap is a great way of reducing the chance of inadvertant switches between pages or files. The only thing I would like to see added would be the ability to write on my images with the whiteboard function. Maybe in version 1.4? I am very pleased and impressed with this product.

Some bad moments

Pdf outline is not seen on the app. So its not useful. And they dont update this app so many years . I think they dont care.
I love this app. Simple. Everything u need. Never have to buy paper charts again. Just download the .tiff charts from FAA.gov and use the image converter on the developers website. Load the charts via iTunes. I have loaded my checklist, current sectional and TAC charts, AFD, approach plates, nav log, and am ready to go.
The developer was very responsive to suggestions and the app runs great!
This app is nice, especially the night mode of green or red. However with all good apps here are some things wishful things that would help. Make tabs a little smaller, maybe add orange and yellow to night colors. Ability to write or highlight on charts. All in all very good idea
In general this app its a great tool for pilots. Its easy to use and fast. But I found 2 mayor design flaws that cloud be fixed with a quick update that will rate this app 4 or 5 stars. The first one is that after you create the quickswitchs in a certain order, you can re-arrange them as you like. You can change their color and delete them, but you cant change the order and that is really annoying for me, specially since you want to keep your stuff as organized as possible. The second flaw is that you can only zoom to a certain degree and then the app wont let you zoom in anymore. This is a serious problem when trying to read a large PDF en route chart. If these 2 things are fixed I would rate this app a 4 !!!.
This app is functional and simple to use. It could use a highlighting function. Overall, I like it!!!
